These recreational kayaks are ideal for beginners and intermediate paddlers looking to enjoy a relaxing half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) adventure. Stable and easy to handle, they’re perfect for wildlife watchers, photographers, and anyone who wants to explore Bamfield’s stunning inlets at a comfortable pace. Cruise the calm waters, discover hidden coves, and soak in the best of Bamfield — without heading out into open ocean swells beyond the point. Suggested Routes: Half Day: Launch from our waterfront location and explore Bamfield Inlet Full Day or Fitness Paddle: Add Grappler Inlet for a longer loop and great workout Important Note: These kayaks are not suited for ocean paddling or exploring beyond the inlets, including the Deer Group or Broken Group Islands.
